LibGuides: Search Everything: New for 2018

The OCC Libraries have introduced a new and improved Search Everything in the new year. The updated Search Everything provides a whole new look & feel, including improved performance for mobile device users and improved OCC Journals List & Browse Search features.

Highlights of the New Search Everything

Single search box, no more tabs on the basic search screen.
Can add unlimited query lines in Advanced Search.
Limiters can be included/excluded without opening new screen.
No more tabs on brief results or full record screens, all the information for each item shows at once.
Clearer reminder to login for requesting items.
“My Favorites” replaces the e-Shelf.
Permalinks to resources in the current Search Everything will also work in new the version.
“New Records” facet on the search results screen shows records added in the past 7, 30 or 90 days.
Enhanced Browse, Journals List, and Citation Linker.
