National Native American Heritage Month: Welcome

Welcome to the National Hispanic Heritage Month Research Guide!

From November 1-30, National Native American Heritage Month is a time " celebrate Indigenous peoples past and present and rededicate ourselves to honoring Tribal sovereignty, promoting Tribal self-determination, and upholding the United States’ solemn trust and treaty responsibilities to Tribal Nations." (Source: A Proclamation on National Native American Heritage Month, 2022)

The OCC Libraries welcome you to explore this guide's resources to learn and celebrate the cultures, history and achievements of Indigenous people of North America!
