OCC uses a variety of tests to assess English proficiency and/or determine ESL placement. These include Duolingo, IELTS, and TOEFL. The OCC Libraries have TOEFL and IELTS books for checkout and an online database called Learning Express to help you study. There are no books for Duolingo, but the links on this page will help you prepare.
LearningExpress Library lets you take practice tests on a computer. Free registration and an e-mail account are required. Click on “Register” before beginning your first practice test.
