The OCC Libraries are proud to announce the winners of the Fifth Annual Outstanding Research Paper Competition!
We received many great entries this year (48 to be exact)!
According to the final round judges, the papers below were judged truly outstanding!
1st Place ($250):

More Exciting News: Thanks to generous funding from the OCC Foundation, we will be holding the Outstanding Research Paper Competition again next year. Eligible papers for the sixth annual competition will have been written for an OCC Course in these semesters: winter 2024, summer 2024, and fall 2024. If you are taking a course that requires a research paper, check the library website in the fall for details about next year’s competition.
