Three Branches of U.S. Government

Three Branches of U.S. Government

The Constitution provides a separation of powers: the Legislative branch, the Executive branch, and the Judicial branch.

The Legislative branch makes laws. It's made up of Congress, which comprises the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The Executive branch carries out laws. It includes the President, the Vice President, and the Cabinet.

The Judicial branch evaluates laws. It includes the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

OCC is committed to empowering our students to succeed and advancing our community.
