We have established a new digital collection in Alma for Open Educational Resources (OERs) used in courses at OCC. So far two titles have been included and more are on the way. In addition to being housed in this collection, these items are discoverable in a Search Everything general search and may also be linked to course reserves.
This collection will be a great way to help students find resources being used in their courses and will help promote the OCC Libraries as a supporter of and source for OERs.
Films on Demand has a feature that allows instructors to create and share quizzes with their students. Four different types of questions are available: Short Answer, Multiple Choice, True/False, and Check All That Apply. Once a quiz is created and saved it can be shared with students by email, permalink, or through D2L. Find out more from the Films on Demand support site.
