Nearly 700 titles were added to O'Reilly for Higher Education in September. Visit the O'Reilly database, scroll down to "Recently Added," and click on "See More" to view the latest titles.
Users trying to access JSTOR and Artstor from off-campus have been experiencing very slow response times. These databases work as expected on-campus but off-campus users may see incomplete page loading or may receive an error message. This can be bypassed by refreshing the browser screen until the page fully loads. We have open cases with the vendor and OCC IT but this has yet to be resolved. A message will be added to the databases records on our Find Articles/Databases as well as in Search Everything to alert users to the problem.
Zoom enforces a minimum version for meetings on a quarterly basis. The next enforcement of the Software Lifecycle Policy will take place on November 2, 2024. If you are using a version of Zoom below the minimum, users will no longer be able to connect to a meeting. Versions older than 5.17.5 will need to update.
